District-A, where arts+community meet, is a citizen’s collaborative driving economic and cultural development in the Pleasant Ridge and Kennedy Heights communities. This year, join us for vendors that feature tastes of Chicago, Italy, and Cincinnati’s own flavors! Try your hand at oil painting, see what the farmers market has to offer, enter the photo contest, and peruse the art show and sale showcasing the area’s finest students and professionals. Don’t forget the in-person celebration of Philip Nagle’s “48 in 48” bike adventure! Trekking through 48 states in 48 days, Nagle’s efforts will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. A participant in the 2008 District-A Street Festival, he’ll be there to show you the journey from his bike lens! Take a horse-drawn carriage along the corridor if your feet get tired!

Join family, friends, and other outstanding young professionals to usher in the fall with a bang. Hope to see you there!

cincypassport

Want to learn more about the region, meet new people, visit new communities and eat great food while enjoying music and other entertainment?

Look no further than cincypassport--a program designed to let you see the world without ever leaving Cincinnati.

cincypassport was developed by members of the Cincinnati Chamber's 2009 C-Change class. The goal of cincypassport is to show Greater Cincinnatians and visitors all of the great things the region has to offer.

In its inaugural year, cincypassport will highlight several neighborhoods through six distinctive events:

--Juneteenth Festival in Walnut Hills
--Panegyri Greek Festival in Finneytown
--Findlay Market in Over-the-Rhine
--Taste of Blue Ash in Blue Ash
--Su Casa's Hispanic Fest in Carthage
--District A Street Festival in Pleasant Ridge/Kennedy Heights

Check back often for details on each cincypassport event.
