District-A Street Festival

When else can you experience the arts, soapbox cars, and hours upon hours of live music on historic Montgomery Road? Don’t miss the cincypassport grand finale stop on October 10 in beautiful Pleasant Ridge and Kennedy Heights: District-A’s 2nd Annual Street Festival!

District-A
Saturday, Oct. 10

cincypassport holders (or passport seekers) should meet between 1:30 and 2 p.m. at St. Peter’s UCC on Ridge and Woodsfield (1 block west of Montgomery on Ridge) to board the shuttle bound for the festival's starting point in Kennedy Heights.

Parking is free at Pleasant Ridge Montessori School (Montgomery and Lester).

District-A, where arts+community meet, is a citizen’s collaborative driving economic and cultural development in the Pleasant Ridge and Kennedy Heights communities. This year, join us for vendors that feature tastes of Chicago, Italy, and Cincinnati’s own flavors! Try your hand at oil painting, see what the farmers market has to offer, enter the photo contest, and peruse the art show and sale showcasing the area’s finest students and professionals. Don’t forget the in-person celebration of Philip Nagle’s “48 in 48” bike adventure! Trekking through 48 states in 48 days, Nagle’s efforts will benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. A participant in the 2008 District-A Street Festival, he’ll be there to show you the journey from his bike lens! Take a horse-drawn carriage along the corridor if your feet get tired!

Join family, friends, and other outstanding young professionals to usher in the fall with a bang. Hope to see you there!
